Took a long walk today, 5+ miles. No issues with the “cold” weather clothing today as it was in the 70’s. Noticed towards the end that the side of my left heel was hurting. It was a forming blister but I couldn’t figure out what was causing it. The right foot was fine and the shoes didn’t appear to be the cause. I think it was something about the seam in the sock and pressure, or rubbing, from the shoe. /shrug
The socks are special running socks designed to eliminate that sort of thing. Never had a problem before, but these are my new shoes. Guess we’ll just see how things go.
